Latitude 38 Article – Great Pics and the Maui to Oahu Sleigh Ride Story

Pick up the February edition of Latitude 38. On pages 98 – 101 you’ll find some awesome pictures we took in the South Pacific and the story of the harrowing passage to Oahu.

UPDATE: Still making progress on the boat. I have the cooling system all ripped apart and just cleaned and re-painted the heat exchanger. Now procrastinating the install but it will probably happen this afternoon…..maybe.

Hope everyone is having and excellent weekend!  Cheers from Oahu!

Hi Lewis & Alyssa!! We were in the states and picked up the February Latitude. Great article!!! We received great news from the doctor, none are bigger and some are smaller!!! We are ecstatic to say the least. My son Christopher Jahn works FT at West Marine now so you may run into him sometime. Good luck on the boat projects. We are currently in Barra and plan a slow crawl to La Cruz for the next 6 weeks. We miss you guys!!!

That is fantastic news you guys! We are so happy to hear that!! We look forward to sharing boat drinks with you both when we finally make it back to Mexico.
We need to meet Chris so email us his contact info to ridethetrades at gmail dot com. Any way you guys can sneak out here for a quick visit before we leave?? I am flying down to Tahiti on March 7th to bring a cat up here so you’ll have to come before that.. You always have a berth.
Again so happy for you both! Take care and talk to you soon.
      Lewis & Lyss

Thank You
